Jeb Burton to race at SBS / March 22, 2012
Jeb Burton has landed a new sponsor for his continuing NASCAR late model effort.

Cherokee Coffee has come on board to sponsor Burton's late model efforts. Jeb Burton plans to compete at South Boston Speedway in a Jim Dean-H.C. Sellers-prepared car in late model action this weekend.

Ward Burton, who helps manage Jeb's race deals, said the young driver has worked out a relationship with Cathy Farley at Common Grounds for sponsorship.

"We're going to be working with Common Grounds and their brands to help drive more business locally, as well as around the country, for them," said W. Burton.

"We're tickled to death to have a local relationship we can work with, and we just appreciate Cathy so much. They want to use Jeb and I to help build their brands and help sell some product," said W. Burton.

A show truck will soon be brought to Common Grounds and Ward and Jeb plan to make an appearance in a promotional event to help get that relationship started locally.

Jeb Burton also continues his work on his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series deal.

Burton will be making his Truck Series debut at Martinsville, March 31. Burton plans to test for that race on Monday.

Burton also said Puryear Tank Lines will be a sponsor of the late model effort. "They've been a supporter of Jeb's the last couple of years. We certainly appreciate their support as well," said W. Burton.

There's no definite number of NASCAR Whelen All-American series late model races on the J. Burton's agenda.

"We don't really have any set number planned this month. We'll run between South Boston and Ace (Speedway). We;ll see how the Truck program progresses with sponsorship for that," said W. Burton.

Jeb Burton will be driving the no. 27 NASCAR late model this weekend at SBS.
