Blues Bash returns Sept. 30

South Boston NewsSouth Boston News
The third annual Big Buggs Island Blues Bash — with live blues, great food, a swing dance competition, and the best lineup of performers yet — will be held Saturday, Sept. 30 from 2-10 p.m. on the lake at Robbins Ballpark in Clarksville (rain or shine). Tickets are $30 general admission in advance and $35 at the gate. There are a limited number of $75 VIP tickets available, which includes admission plus two complimentary drinks, premiere seating under the stage side tent, and access to the catered hospitality tent for a ‘Meet-And-Greet’ with the performers. Food will be offered for sale by top area restaurants and food trucks, plus there will be the swing dance competition and an arts and crafts vendors village. “We’ve arranged for some of the finest performers in the blues to entertain and amaze,” said Scott “Woolly” Williamson, founder/promoter of the Big Buggs Island Blues Bash and creator of the famed Woolly’s Big Blues jam. Cleve Baker, host of the Confessing The Blues radio show, will emcee. In the event of bad weather, the Big Buggs Island Blues Bash will be moved to an indoor location.
