Happy birthday! – until ‘Murder Is Served’ by Double Nickel Players

SoVaNow.com / August 07, 2013
The MCCSC (Mecklenburg County Community Services Corporation) and the Clarksville Double Nickel Players present “Murder is Served,” an original play written by Irene Chapman. The murder mystery dinner takes place Saturday, Aug. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Country Enrichment Complex, located at 1567 Noblin Farm Road in Clarksville.

For $35 per person or $60 per couple, the audience will enjoy a dinner of pork tenderloin, garden fresh vegetables, pasta salad, rolls and birthday cupcakes, prepared by local chef Scott Williamson.

A cash wine bar will be available; it is also acceptable to bring your own bottle. Set-ups will be provided.

After dinner, the audience will help solve this “whodunit” — a murder occurring at a festive 90th birthday party, in which the audience are the birthday guests.

The show runs one night only, and space is limited to the first 80 people. Stop by the Enrichment Complex to pick up your tickets for a night of good food, and good sleuthing. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Enrichment Complex.
