Lineup set for 2013 concerts, events

The South Hill Market Square Committee has announced the lineup of performers for the 2013 Affair on the Square concert series. Concerts will take place on these “Third Thursday” dates:

April 18 — Nashville recording artist and hometown favorite Jason Link makes a return appearance to Market Square.

May 16 — J.B. and the Get Down Browns bring their soulful sounds to town.

June 20 — The classic beach sounds of The Embers.

Sept. 19 — Rock the night with the Konnection Band.

Other Affair on the Square events include the July 3rd Picnic in the Park (at Parker Park) with the Redneck Pool Party Band, and, of course, Monster Mash, set to take place on Halloween night, Thursday, Oct. 31.

Mark your calendars now a great year of music and fun as South Hill brings these events and more to your hometown. Sponsors are now being sought for the Affair on the Square series; watch your local newspapers for more information.
