Prizery hosts first-ever voice competition

The Prizery in South Boston will present the first ever Prizery Voice Competition on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22-23, at 7:30 p.m. The Friday event will serve as a preliminary competition, ending up with 15 participants who will compete in the final round of competition on Saturday night.

Only 30 students from second-12th grade will be able to compete. Only the first 30 applications will be accepted. Pick up an application at The Prizery; a $25 registration fee must accompany the application when it is returned.

Songs can be from any style of music such as Gospel, Country, Musical Theatre, Jazz or Classical. The accompaniment for the music must be on CD or jump drive and received by The Prizery the week before the event. Pick up your application at The Prizery box-office between 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
