Diva Carolyn Dunn beautifies Diva Tasha Dyer before pictures for Little Theatre’s BEEHIVE: The 60’s Rock Musical. This Saturday between 8-10 a.m., Little Theatre is sponsoring a pancake breakfast at Applebee’s to benefit the Beehive production. The Beehive cast will be helping at the breakfast this weekend, so you can meet the divas, dancers, and do-wops in person. The show runs April 25 to May 4 at The Prizery.

Halifax County Little Theatre will sponsor a Pancake Breakfast at Applebee’s this Saturday, April 5, from 8-10 a.m. The proceeds from the breakfast will help with expenses for their upcoming musical, BEEHIVE: The 60’s Rock Musical, which opens April 25.
Trying to get the feel of their Diva status are the women of “BEEHIVE: The 60’s Rock Musical.” Little Theatre’s spring musical opens on April 25, and patrons are encouraged to purchase their tickets early by calling The Prizery at 572-8339. As the old adage goes, ‘success is ninety-nine percent preparation and one percent perspiration’. The same could be said about acting. It takes a great deal of preparation, mixed with a little bit of perspiration, to make a stage performance worthy of a top prize.

Whether you love them or hate them, no one can deny that sports occupy a large amount of television time. There are preview shows, the sporting events themselves, postgame wrap-up shows, and morning sports talk shows.

Little Theatre doesn’t bring many shows back for a revival, and when they do, it’s because the show was a huge hit or there are a lot of requests to see it again. And that’s exactly the case with BEEHIVE: The 60’s Rock Musical! It’s coming back, and auditions are just around the corner. Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 13 and 14, auditions will be held at The Prizery at 6:30.
The Man Who Saved Christmas opens Friday at The Prizery, in South Boston, with additional shows on Nov. 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 17 and 24 at 3 p.m. For tickets please call The Prizery at 572-8339 or visit http://www.hclt.org
