SoVaNow.com / August 22, 2013(Isa.14:19) “But thou art cast out” (flung out; far away) “of thy grave” (sepulcher) “like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet.” That’s Satan’s future. God has spoken it, and it will come to pass. Satan deserves his punishment, and so will those that follow him into the Lake of Fire.
We return from our little ‘side trip’ into Isaiah, back to the 31st chapter of Ezekiel, where God continues to speak to Pharaoh through Ezekiel, and He’s describing Satan as Antichrist. The first part of this chapter gives us Satan’s former state, while the last part gives his latter state.
(Ezek. 31:14) “To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in in their height”, (all are equal in importance in the one-world system) “all that drink water:” (take part in the one-world system) “for they are all delivered unto death,” (Satan’s name) “to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.” God deals with nations, but He also deals with us on an individual basis. This word ‘pit’ is ‘bore’ in Hebrew, and it means a cistern, dungeon, prison, pit or a well. Another Hebrew word that has been translated ‘pit’ is ‘shachath’, and is used in the sense of a trap, destruction, a ditch, or a grave, as in the next verse. Every soul will have a chance to choose between Christ and Satan. Those who have their chance while living in the flesh, but refuse Him will go into the lake of fire with Satan. Also, those who have their first chance to be taught in the Millennium, but who still refuse to follow Christ, will be with those that ‘go down to the pit’; the Lake of Fire. The ‘nether parts’ is not an actual place, but is a condition of degradation of mind, soul and spirit, brought on because they are deceived by Satan.
(Ezek. 31:15) “Thus saith the Lord God; In the day when he went down to the grave” (Sheol: pit—not the lake of fire, but the pit into which Satan will be held during most of the Millennium) “I caused a mourning:” (when Antichrist goes down, that great city, Babylon, meaning the trade, the commerce, the wealth of the world; and the 4 hidden dynasties, go down as well. Greedy, money-hungry people will be so sad to see it end) “I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.” God will allow it. It’s awesome to think of the people who will not be spiritually prepared for the deception antichrist brings.
(Ezek. 31:16) “I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall,” (Why? They worshipped him.) “when I cast him down” (made him to descend) “to hell” (Sheol) “with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden,” (all mankind) “the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.” What Father is saying is: ‘I’m not going to comfort them, and they will certainly get no comfort from Satan, so, they’ll have to comfort each other.’ Why will they have to comfort each other? When they realize who Satan really is, he will no longer be a comfort to them. Remember the verse we read from Isaiah that said, “Is this the man that made the earth to tremble; that didst shake kingdoms?” (14:16). How wise they will become when they suddenly see Satan for who he is. Too bad they aren’t wise enough to take the time to study Father’s Word and prepare themselves to avoid what lies ahead.
(Ezek. 31:17) “They also went down into hell” (Sheol) “with him unto them that be slain with the sword;” (Satan’s deception; his lies) “and they that were his arm”, (this should be translated ‘and his seed’; speaking of the Kenites—they are the power and the force he uses to move the entire operation he will head when he comes) “that dwelt under his shadow” (drawing from him; believing on him) “in the midst of the heathen” (the nations). The warning comes back to Pharaoh:
(Ezek. 31:18) “To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden?” (Satan, the tree of knowledge of good and evil). “Yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: Thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord God.” God is saying, ‘Pharaoh, who are you like? You weren’t in the Garden of Eden; you’re not supernatural.’ Pharaoh will be right along with all the others who are ‘slain’ by the sword of the Lord; His Truth, because it’s Truth that will convict those who did not serve our Father.
