Black History Month exhibit at Arnold library

During February, the R.T. Arnold Library is hosting a display featuring the early development of schools for Black students in the eastern end of Mecklenburg County. The public is invited to come and view the progression of educational opportunities that have developed since 1915. Pictured are the members of the Exhibit Committee Rev. Willie Tisdale, Louise Piercy, Florence Macklin, Inez Boyd, Lucille Hudson, Dorothy Tanner, Shirley Moreland, Doretha Talley and Claude Piercy. Not pictured is Mr. and Mrs. W.P Hudgins.
