Tim and Caryl Moore of Halifax, Virginia announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Chrystal Rene’ to Mark Richard Altendorf, son of Lorraine Tibert of Hillsboro, N.D., and Richard C. Altendorf of Northwood, N.D.

The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Francis of South Boston, and the late Nancy West Francis, formally of Danville. Her paternal grandparents are Mary Parker Moore and the late Henry L. Moore of South Boston. The groom-elect’s maternal grandparents are the late Bud and Louise Tibert of Minton, N.D. and his paternal grandparents are the late Nick and Naomi Altendorf of Grafton, N.D.

Chrystal is a 2009 graduate of Halifax County High School. She is currently attending Germanna Community College and plans to continue her education to earn a doctorate in Physical Therapy. Mark is a 1999 graduate from Hillsboro High School. He is currently a staff sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and is stationed in Quantico.

The wedding will take place in July in Quantico. Invitations have been sent.
