Heavenly Father you are truly awesome in all you do, Keeping us from day to day with a portion of good health. As the old saying goes “it could have been the other way”. Frist recognizing birthday for the week of March 19th thru March 26th. Shouting happy birthday to Jennifer Dixon, Justin Garrett, Keith Crews, Rita Griles, Retha Garrett, Nadine Staten, Tonya Powell, and Darryl Garrett. We are asking God to bless you with many more birthdays. To those that are celebrating and I do not have your name Happy Birthday to you also. To those that are celebrating anniversaries best wishes to you. Asking God to shower down blessings upon you.

We are still praying for all the sick and shut in throughout the community. Deacon James Dixon is blessed to be driving a little. So happy that he is still improving. Stanley Terry is also doing very well, Deacon Ronald Foster is so happy he can follow behind his grandson again, as long as he doesn’t move to fast. Gods healing power is working for so many throughout the community. We give him all the praise! We are still praying for the family that have lost love ones, adding to that list the Epperson family. Please know that the community is praying for your family. As I stated last week from the scriptures, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding Proverbs 3:5 Know that God will take care of you.

Worship service was held at Zion Grove Baptist Church Sunday, with Rev. James Jones delivering the sermon. Service was enjoyed be all and He will be returning next month.

Easter will be here this weekend and we are wishing for all a very spiritual and Happy Easter weekend. Deacon Sterling and Anita Carden will be hosting a Easter Egg Hunt for the youth of St. Matthews. The older members have been invited to attend, for I have been told there will be a treat for you also. Easter Sunrise service will be hosted by Piney Grove Baptist Church, of Scottsburg this year. Rev. Blackwell will deliver the message and the church family will prepare the breakfast. Inviting all to come out. Worship service will be at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Clover, starting at 11:30 am. We are inviting everyone to worship with us. Again we are asking God to keep us until we talk again. God Bless.
