Clover II News for May 5, 2016 / May 05, 2016

Greetings once again Clover II readers. We truly pray that all is good with you and yours. We always start by thanking our heavenly father for keeping us and giving us good health. We thank God for the rain but thank him even more for keeping the flooding waters from our doors. Please let’s join together to pray for our brothers and sisters in Texas, where they are experiencing all the flooding. Do we really know how blessed we are?

Happy belated birthday to those that celebrated last week. Want to especially recognized Linda Dixon, who celebrated on April 30. Linda is always trying to do something to make others happy, so Linda we pray that you were made happy on your day. Ronald Foster was tickled to death to celebrate with his grandson whom he calls his little “June Bug.” We all know that means he can get away with murder. To all that celebrated wishing for you many more happier and healthy days. Not forgetting those who celebrated anniversaries, asking God to grant you and yours many more years together.

The sick and shut in we are not forgetting you. Please set aside some time to go by the nursing homes, and adults’ homes and say hello. Remember we may only be a thrones throw away from being there ourselves. Marcia Williams, is asking everyone to pray for her nephew, Patrick Hunter. We are asking also that you keep Andrea Thaxton and her family in prayer.

We all know that God is still in the miracle working business.

Happy to report that Dedray and Tiffany Foster’s baby girl is doing good and they will be able to bring her home soon. Won’t be long before daddy and mommy will be getting up in the middle of the night for those feedings and diaper changes. I know they can’t wait to have that kind of fun. Nothing like it in the whole wide world.

In spite of the heavy rain showers Sunday morning, worship service was held at the Zion Grove Baptist Church starting at 11:30 a.m. Associate minister Rev. Morris Mitchell, preached the word. Worship service will be held at the St. Matthew Baptist Church Mother’s Day Sunday, starting at 11:30 a.m.

There will be a special Mother’s Day presentation by the Youth Department and the Sunday School Dept. The youth around Clover are getting kind of anxious because they don’t have many more days in school. Mothers and grandmothers we know what that mean.

Be blessed and keep praying until we talk again.
