Worship service at Scottsburg UMC opened with the prelude “Jesus Got a Hold of My Life” played by Lee Snead. Call to worship was “Take My Life and Let It Be Consecrated” by the choir. Rev. Kerry Halbert had welcome remarks and announcements, hymn of praise was “God of Grace and God of Glory.” Offertory hymn was “At the Cross” with special music a solo “Build My Mansion” by Billy Ligon. Choir anthem was “Have Faith in God” and Rev. Halbert read Isaiah 5: 1-7 and his message “The Song of the Vineyard.” Hymn of response was “Only Trust Him” and Rev. Halbert had welcome remarks, announcements and closing hymn “Just As I Am.” Rev. Halbert had dismissal blessing and benediction was “Bond of Love.” Tim Snead was usher and acolyte.

Worship service at Clover UMC opened with the prelude “Freely, Freely” played by Joyce Edmondson. Call to worship was “Alleluia” by the choir. Rev. Kerry Halbert had welcome remarks, announcements and hymn of praise was “God of Grace and God of Glory.” Offertory hymn was “Come Holy Spirit” and ushers were Edd Edmondson and Jim Smith. Choir anthem was “Give Me Jesus” and Rev. Halbert read Isaiah 5: 1-7 and his message “The Song of the Vineyard.” Hymn of response was “Only Trust Him” and Rev. Halbert had joys and concerns, prayer and led the Lord’s prayer. Closing hymn was “Just As I Am” and Rev. Halbert had dismissal blessing and benediction was “Bond of Love.” Betty Fifer was acolyte.
