Worship service at Scottsburg UMC opened with the prelude "The Lily of the Valley" played by Allan Anderson. Call to worship was "Yes, Lord, Yes" by the choir. Rev. Meiser had welcome remarks, announcements, prayer and led responsive reading from Psalm 111. Hymn of praise was "How Great Thou Art." Rev. Rich Meiser read Deuteronomy 18: 15-20 and had joys and concerns, prayer and the Lord's prayer. Offertory hymn was "Jesus Loves Even Me." Ushers were Tim and Eric Snead. Special music was "Til The Storm Passes By" by the choir. Rev. Meiser read I Corinthians 8: 1-13 and led the affirmation of faith. Hymn of preparation was "Blest Be the Tie That Binds." Rev. Meiser read Mark 1: 21-28 and his message "Jesus Amazing Authority." Closing hymn was "Just As I Am." Benediction was "Threefold Amen." Tim Snead was acolyte.

Rich Meiser had welcome remarks, announcements, prayer and led responsive reading from Psalm 111. Hymn of praise was "How Great Thou Art." Rev. Meiser had joys and concerns, prayer. Hymns and scripture same as above. Offertory hymn was "Something Beautiful." Ushers were Edd Edmondson and David Conner. Choir anthem was "Til the Storm Passes By." Rev. Meiser read Mark 1: 21-28 and his message "Jesus Amazing Authority." Benediction was "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus." Acolytes were Zack and Megan Martin.
