Worship service at Scottsburg UMC opened with the prelude “Refiners Fire” played by Lee Snead. Call to worship was “Thank You Lord” by the choir. Rev. Marsha Davis had welcome remarks, announcements, prayer and led the preparation for worship. Special music was “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” by Lee. Rev. Davis led the call to worship “I Am Thine O Lord.” Offertory hymn was “Before the Throne of God.” Ushers were Tim and Eric Snead. Choir anthem was “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” Rev. Davis led the prayer of illumination and read Hebrews 10: 11-25 and her message “Provoke One Another?” Rev. Davis led confession and had joys and concerns, prayer and led the Lord’s prayer. Closing hymn was “Because He Lives” and Rev. Davis had dismissal blessing and benediction was “Threefold Amen.” Tim Snead was acolyte.

Davis had welcome remarks, announcements, prayer and led preparation for worship. Special music was by the quintet. Hymn of praise was “I Am Thine O Lord.” Offertory hymn was “Living for Jesus.” Ushers were Edd Edmondson and Megan Martin. Rev. Davis led prayer of illumination and read Hebrews 10: 11-25 and her message “Provoke One Another?” Rev. Davis led the confession and had joys and concerns, prayer and led the Lord’s prayer. Closing hymn was “Because He Lives.” Choir anthem was “Surely Goodness and Mercy.” Rev. Davis had dismissal blessing and benediction was “God Be With You.” Megan Summer and Abby Martin were acolytes.
