Worship service at Scottsburg UMC opened with the prelude “God of the Ages” played by Lee Snead. Call to worship was “Come Ye Thankful People Come” by the choir. Rev. Kerry Halbert had welcome remarks and announcements. Hymn of praise was ‘Come Thou Almighty King.” Offertory hymn was “O Worship the King.” Ushers were Tim and Eric Snead. Choir anthem was “Give Thanks.” Rev. Halbert read Colossians 1: 11-20 and his message “The All Sufficiency of Christ for our Needs.” Hymn of dedication was “For the Beauty of the Earth.” Rev. Halbert had joys and concerns, prayer and led the Lord’s prayer. Closing hymn was “Crown Him With Many Crowns.” Rev. Halbert had dismissal blessing and benediction was “Bond of Love.” Tim Snead was acolyte.

Halbert had welcome remarks and announcements. Hymn of praise was “Come Ye Thankful People Come.” Offertory hymn was ‘I’d Rather Have Jesus.” Ushers were Edd Edmondson and David Conner. Choir anthem was “Thank You Lord For Your Blessings.” Rev. Halbert read Colossians 1: 11-20 and his message “The All Sufficiency of Christ for our Needs.” Hymn of dedication was “Victory in Jesus.” Rev. Halbert had joys and concerns, prayer and led the Lord’s prayer. Closing hymn was “Beneath the Cross of Jesus.” Rev. Halbert had dismissal blessing and benediction was “Bond of Love.” Summer Martin was acolyte.
