Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Stanger Jr., of Halifax, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Kate Stanger to Dustin Keith Francis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Francis of South Boston.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Mida Stanger and the late Delmer Stanger Sr. of Christiansburg and of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Beuche Jr. of Virginia Beach. Liz is a graduate of DRMC School of Nursing and is employed as a RN at Halifax Regional Hospital.

The groom to be is the grandson of Esther Martin and the late Gerald Martin of Crystal Hill and of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Francis of Nathalie. Dustin is a graduate of Liberty University and is employed as a sheriff’s deputy with the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

The wedding will be held Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, Virgilina.
