Erin Leigh Snead, Charles Bruce Anderson Jr. wed
SoVaNow.com / November 26, 2012The wedding of Erin Leigh Snead, daughter of Michael and Connie Snead of Mt. Laurel, to Charles Bruce Anderson Jr., son of Charles Bruce Anderson, Sr., of South Boston and Richard and Renee Ridgeway of Nathalie, took place Sept. 22, on the beach at Villa Capriani, North Topsail Island, N.C. Spenser Haskett, friend of the bride of Suffolk, officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Patricia Crews of Nathalie and Charlie D. Snead, and the late Pauline Snead of Mt. Laurel. The groom is the grandson of David and Joyce Allred of Lennig and George T. and Catherine Lacy of Halifax, and the late Roger Anderson.
The bride, escorted by her father, and given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory Chiffon gown with a sweep train and featured a sweetheart neckline. The strapless bodice was embellished with eye-catching sparkling sequins and intricate beading. She also wore an elbow length veil of tulle featuring a thin pencil edge. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia and orange Gerber daisies.
Kimberly Anne Snead, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a short Cotton dress with a Y-Neckline and skirt pleating in the color, Malibu, and carried a bouquet of fuchsia and orange Gerber daisies.
Raegan Ridgeway, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. She wore a short bubble hem crinkle Chiffon and Charmeuse dress with a Y-neckline in the color, Malibu, and carried a smaller bouquet of fuchsia and orange Gerber daisies.
Charles Anderson Sr., father of the groom, was best man. Brad Michael Snead, brother of the bride, was junior groomsman. The groom, best man and junior groomsman all wore khaki pants, and a white dress shirt with a Malibu paisley necktie.
The wedding ceremony was followed by a dinner reception at The Bella Luna Bistro at the Villa Capriani.
On Thursday, May 31, the Operating Room department of Halifax Regional Hospital, hosted a Pampered Chef shower for the future bride at Italian Delight.
On Sunday, June 3, the groom’s family hosted a gift card shower for the future bride and groom at the home of Tony and Darlene Stevens.
On Sunday, Aug. 5, the future bride’s family hosted a miscellaneous shower at the future home of the couple.
On Thursday, Aug. 23, co-workers of the future bride hosted a miscellaneous shower at Halifax Regional Hospital.
