Kimball Jade Jones, Kyle Hunter Kindley exchange vows

The marriage of Kimball Jade Jones to Dr. Kyle Hunter Kindley took place on May 4, at the Jones family home in Palmer Springs. The Rev. Charles M. Davis officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Bobbitt “Bob” Jones of Palmer Springs. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn Bobbitt Jones of South Hill and the late James DeCalb Jones. Her maternal grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Watkins Bowers of South Hill.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Eugene Kindley Jr. of Buffalo Junction. He is the grandson of Frances Stone Kindley of Boydton and the late Larry Eugene Kindley Sr. His maternal grandmother is Christine Elliott Estes of South Hill and the late Cabell Elwood Estes.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a bridal gown by Allure Bridals created from satin with a sweetheart neckline encrusted with Swarovski crystals with ruching symmetrically throughout the length of the gown.

Juli Jones, sister of the bride, of Palmer Springs, served as Maid of Honor. Other bridesmaids included Paige Kindley, sister of the groom, of Buffalo Junction; Lauren Ashley Collins of Emporia; Lauren Elliott of Nashville, Tennessee; Morgan Howerton of Jarratt; Emily Smith of South Hill; Kelsey Reagan of Lillington, N.C.; Hanna Crowder and Kellie Wingold, both of Raleigh, N.C.

Larry Eugene Kindley Jr., the groom’s father, was best man. Groomsmen included William Coleman of Boydton; Andrew Elliott of Nelson; Daniel Gregory of Buffalo Junction; Tyler Halstead of Richmond; Lane Hite of Arlington; Nicholas Lumsden of San Francisco, Chris Moseley of Palmer Springs; and Matthew Murray of Richmond.

The flower girl was Allie Morris, cousin of the bride, of Palm City, Fla., and the ring bearer was Will Leffert, cousin of the bride, of Boynton Beach, Fla. The guest book was attended by Meg Morris, cousin of the bride, of Palm City, Florida, and Molly Johnson, cousin of the groom, of Matthews, N.C. Sidney Long of South Hill played the piano for the wedding ceremony. Mistresses of Ceremony were Sandra Nemeth, aunt of the groom, of South Hill, and Myra Quicke of Blackstone.

The reception was held following the ceremony at the Jones family home. The wedding party and guests were entertained by J B and the Get Down Browns Band.

The couple honeymooned in St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands shortly after the wedding. They now reside in Louisa, where Kyle is an Emergency Medicine Resident at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville and Jade is a medical student at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
