SoVaNow.com / October 15, 2009
The 30th Annual South Boston Lions Club Christmas Fruit Sale is now under way and will continue through November 28. You can enjoy fresh fruit direct from the Florida grove and don’t forget a box of fruit makes a wonderful Christmas gift.

You can place your order by contacting any South Boston Lion member or calling 575-7006 or 572-0017. You can purchase a 4/5 bushel box of tangelos, grapefruit, navel oranges or a mixed box of any two of these fruits. Special gift boxes include Holiday Gift Trio (12 each - apples, tangelos, grapefruit), Citrus Pack (12 each - oranges, tangelos, grapefruit) and Fresh Fruit Sampler (12 each - 8 each tangelos, oranges, apples, 6 each grapefruit and pears). Each box is $25.00. The fruit is expected to be available for pickup on December 11, 12 and 13.

Our supplier has assured us that the usual high quality fresh fruit will be available for our customers again this year. Our fruit is picked up at the packinghouse in Florida one day, delivered to South Boston the next day and ready for your pickup the next day.
