Buffalo Baptist Church — located at 803 Buffalo Church Road in Buffalo Junction, will have services on Sundays, with their new Contemporary Worship Service which began on February 3 at 8:45 a.m. (with refreshments following), Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., Traditional Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. and Men Growing In God on the first Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m., held at the Sandy Fork Hunt Club. Prayer and Bible Study are on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday, February 6 at 12:00 Noon, our Mid-day Bible Study begins again. The study will continue in the book of Judges, Chapter 9, with lunch following. Everyone is invited for facts, fun, fellowship, and food. You are welcome to any and all services and activities at Buffalo Baptist Church.

Announcing Bible Study — starting at New Life Ministries on Friday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m., there will be bible study and discussion on Changing You from the Inside Out. There will be worksheets provided. This course will last for four months. Please come and join the discussions.

Concord Baptist Church — A benefit program for Mr. Shaw Walker will be held at the Concord Baptist Church on Saturday, February 9, at 5:00 p.m. Various musical groups has been in invited to appear on this program.  The public is cordially invited.

Game Night — at the New Life Ministries in South Hill, will be on February 9, at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. There will be fun, food, and games for all.

Gospel Singing Benefit Service — for Clement L. Shearin, on Saturday, February 9, at 12:00 Noon. The service will be held at Faith Church Without Walls, located at 26393 Highway 47, South Hill. On the service will be The Combined Voices of Zion, The Mighty Southerneers and God's Gift. The public is invited to come and be a Blessing to him. South Hill Church of God Youth Impact! — Services are moving to Wednesday night. South Hill Church of God will have family night on Wednesday’s starting at 7:00 p.m. Youth will enjoy an upbeat service lead by Pastor Chafik while the adults participate in a Bible study lead by Pastor Lockhart. Come and join us in learning more about our Lord Jesus Christ! Everyone is welcome.

OBBC Night of Musical Worship — Olive Branch Baptist Church located at 5223 Blackridge Road, Blackridge, VA will host an evening of musical worship on Sunday evening February 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The bands "Footstool" and "Bracey Junction Band" will both be playing their own style of music as well as joining together for a couple of combined selections. Admission is free to all with refreshments to follow.

Foot Washing Service — at New Hope Baptist Church, located at 658 Antlers Road in Boydton will be held on February 10, at 11:00 a.m.

Black History Program — will be held at the Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville on Sunday, February 10 at 3:00 p.m. Various groups will be appearing.

ST. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church — Regular weekend Masses are Saturday evening at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in Spanish.  Weekday Masses are Thursday and Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Holy Hour is on Friday morning following the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Shower Of Love — Musical Celebration for Mrs. Rosolyn Newell Powell, who resides in Brodnax, Virginia will take place at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church 6271 Belfield Road in Freeman Virginia, on Saturday, February 16, at 4:00 p.m. Appearing on the Celebration will be God's Community Praises of Warfield, New Beginning of Emporia, Brother Arlton Walker and others. Brunswick Stew Sale — The Lacrosse United Methodist Church will be having a stew sale on Saturday, February 16, pick-up at 10:30 a.m. Cost is $7 per quart and may be picked up on the church grounds at 203 Carter Street in Lacrosse. Meherrin Baptist Church will be hosting a Black History Program — Saturday, February 16, at 4:00 p.m.  Our theme is Reminiscing, Reflecting and Looking Ahead.  We encourage all in attendance to help us evoke the past by dressing "in the Old Time Way". Minister Sharon Baskerville, Minister Patricia Harrell, and Sister Margie Drumgold are among the invited guest. An old-fashioned meal will be served following the program. The public is cordially invited to worship with us.       

The New Mt. Sinai Church — located at 887 Tanner Town Road in Brodnax, will Celebrate Black History Day Sunday February 17, at 4:00 p.m.  Emmanuel Prayer and Faith Choir, God's Gift, and The Hunters For Christ will uplift the Celebration with rendering the Music. The Theme is ‘Just Look Where We've Come From’.  Dress like they did back in the day and wear your old fashion clothes.   Come and Let's Give God Some Praises and help us Celebrate this special day. Black History Program — at Island Hill Christian Church will be held on February 17, at 3:00 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Sheldon Carr and choir, pastor of Livingstone Christian Church. All are welcome to attend.

Musical Program — There will be a musical program at Jesus Church of Faith in Clarksville on Saturday, February 23 at 3:00 p.m. Appearing on the program will be The Singers of Faith, The McShaws, The Jones Mockingbirds, The Gospel Heralds, Joe Jones and the Gospel Keys, The Prodigal Sons and Daughter, Marvin Harris and Inner Peace and others. All proceeds will go towards the Victory Road Baptist Church building fund. Please come and help make this program a success.

Bible Study — will be held at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Clarksville every Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcomed.
