Pastor Norman Talley had the 11:00 a.m. service Sunday at Union Christian Church; Lottie Nunn was pianist and special music was by John Herman Hammock; Saturday Easter egg hunt and hot dog dinner was well attended; Sunrise services this Sunday at 7:00 a.m. at Virgilina Cemetery.

Mrs. Catherine Smith was honored for her birthday at her home Thursday with guests Peggy Smith, Susie Keeton, Kathy Keeton, Bonnie Williamson and Zachary, Alice Comer and children and Beth Keaton.

Dustin Smith and Amber Tuck and Jeremy Saunders were supper guests of Mrs. Mason Pulliam, John Pulliam, Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher Saturday.

Mrs. Barbara Loftis, Rhonda Loftis and Doyle Rice visited Mrs. Mary L. Murray.

Fannie Mae Tuck attended a birthday party for Mrs. Woodrow Ellixson Saturday at Royal Oakes in Virgilina.

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Murray, Jimmy Newton and Jason Murray visited Morine Rice.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindy Tuck, Mrs. Michael Conner and Maci, Pam Tuck, Mr. and Mrs. Jarrad Tuck and children were Sunday dinner guests of Fannie Mae Tuck.
