The Sunday message at Union Christian Church was delivered by Pastor Norman Talley; Lesley Cole was acolyte; special music by the Clark Family; YUM meeting August 3 at 1:00 p.m.; official board meeting August 4 at noon; Bible study August 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Our sympathy to the family and friends of Berkley Elliott; funeral services were held in Lynchburg; and also to the family and friends of Laverne Jones Rice.
Mrs. Mason Pulliam visited Ann Poole Friday and Edith Atkins Saturday.
Visiting Mrs. Mary Alice Murray during the week were Fannie Mae Tuck, Mrs. William Rice, Gene Murray, Rhonda Loftis, Doyle Rice and Barbara Loftis.
Dorothy Hite, Homer McClure, Peggy Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Smith and Jonathan visited Catherine Smith during the week.
