Pastor Norman Talley had services at Union Christian Church Sunday; Pat Newton was pianist; special music was by Brady Martin; the women’s fellowship met Thursday.

Mrs. David Glasscock was honored Saturday in the fellowship hall at Union Christian Church with a baby shower with family and friends attending.

Kristie Tuck was honored Sunday at the Virgilina Baptist Church with a bridal shower with a large group attending.

Mrs. Willie Wilson Long was honored Saturday with a birthday party for her 102 birthday by her family. Mrs. Fannie Mae Tuck, Mrs. Mike Elliott, Mrs. Blanch Francisco and Mrs. Atlena Elliott attended.

Mrs. Catherine Smith visited Mrs. Susan Keeton and Mrs. Kathy Keeton Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. David Glasscock and Elijah were weekend guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Glasscock.
