Pastor Norman Talley delivered the Sunday sermon at Union Christian Church; Pat Newton was pianist; special music by Brandi Talley and Pastor Talley; altar flowers were given in memory of Kenneth Tuck for his birthday by his wife, Fannie Mae Tuck and his children Lindy, Randy and Pam; Christmas program Sunday was well attended by many with Santa Claus present and lots of refreshments.

Wreaths Across America will be at Virgilina Cemetery Saturday at noon.

Members of the YUM of Union Christian Church met for their regular meeting Saturday at Berry Hill Nursing Home with Ann Morris, Carolyn Pulliam, Brenda Glascock and they also visited Woodview and Somerset. Fraser was visited.

Our special prayers for our sick and shut-ins.

The Christmas party and Santa visit will be at Virgilina Fire Department Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

Alfred Fletcher visited Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher Tuesday.

Mrs. Catherine Smith visited Mr. and Mrs. Tom Conner Thursday.

Visiting Morine Rice were Gregory Morris and Tyra, Jimmy Newton, Jason Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Murray.

Mrs. Mason Pulliam visited Mr. and Mrs. Casey Tuck, Amber and Dustin Thursday.

Hannah Hite’s visitors were Fannie Mae Tuck, Sherri Whitlow, Catherine Smith, Mr. Dave Jaloway, Mrs. Mason Pulliam.

Sunday dinner guests of Fannie Mae Tuck were Mr. and Mrs. Lindy Tuck, Pam Tuck, Jarrad Tuck, Mrs. Michael Conner and Maci.

Visiting Mary A. Murray were Gene Murray, Fannie Mae Tuck and Brenda Clay.

Mrs. Allen Keeton was overnight guest of Catherine Smith Sunday. Visiting her were Hollie Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Evans, Robert Henry Smith.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher were Mr. Roger Chandler, Mrs. Mike Glascock, Mrs. Mason Pulliam, John Pulliam, Mr. and Mrs. Casey Tuck, Amber and Dustin, Jeremy Saunders.
