Pastor Norman Talley had Sunday morning services at Union Christian Church; Lottie Nunn was pianist; special music by Lauren Echavarria.

Special prayers for our families who have lost loved ones recently, Jack Setliff, Fred Fox, Allen Reeves, Mary “Bye” Cole.

The Virgilina Woman’s Club met on Tuesday at Union Christian Church with Mrs. Gayle Averett as hostess. Speakers were Robert Carter and Amber Bowman.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Glasscock attended the memorial service at Berry Hill Nursing Home Sunday in memory of their lost ones last year.

Mrs. John (Hazel) Fletcher was honored for her 80th birthday at her home Sunday by her family. She had birthday cake and ice cream. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Chandler, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Glasscock, Mrs. Mason Pulliam, Mr. and Mrs. Casey Tuck and Dustin and John Pulliam; Thursday her granddaughter Amber Tuck and friend Jeremy Saunders were guests.

Mrs. Robert Harris was overnight guest of her mother, Mrs. Mary L. Murray Saturday. Other visitors were Mrs. Barbara Loftis, Rhonda Loftis, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Murray, Mr. and Mrs. William Rice, Fannie Mae Tuck, Mrs. Brenda Clay and granddaughter.

Fannie Mae Tuck visited Mr. and Mrs. Mike Elliott.

Mrs. Billy Murray, Jason Murray and Terri Murray visited Morine Rice during the week.

Hannah Hite’s visitors were Billy Murray, Henry Murray, Mrs. Dave Jaloway, Catherine Smith, Mrs. Fannie Mae Tuck, Mrs. Carolyn Pulliam.

Visiting Mason Pulliam were Mrs. John Henry Smith, Mrs. James Smith, Frances Gittman, Georgia Anderson, Ruby Wade, Mrs. Mason Pulliam, John Pulliam.

Dorothy Hite, Homer McClure, Mrs. Kathy Keeton, Bonnie Williamson and Zachary visited Mrs. Catherine Smith Friday.

Visitors Sunday for dinner of Fannie Mae Tuck were Mr. and Mrs. Lindy Tuck, Pam Tuck, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Conner and Maci, Mr. and Mrs. Jarrad Tuck and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Nunn were in Durham Friday.

Mrs. Catherine Smith visited Peggy Smith.

Ralph Henry Smith, Robert Henry Smith, Jr. visited Catherine Smith.
