Services at Union Christian Church were by Norman Talley, pastor; pianist was Pat Newton and special music by Perry Bagbey and Tammy Lloyd; Lesley Cole was acolyte; women’s fellowship July 25 at the home of Hannah Hite at 2:00 p.m.; July 28, appreciation lunch for Pastor Talley, Brenda and family in the fellowship hall following worship.

We pray for all who have lost a loved one or been sick and shut-in and the family of Gerald Stephen Endles.

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Nunn attended the uranium meeting at Halifax High School Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. David Glasscock are the proud parents of a baby boy, Elijah Tyler.

Mrs. Robert Harris was overnight guest of her mother, Mary L. Murray, Wednesday. Visiting during the week were Gene Murray, John Murray, Barbara Loftis, Rhonda Loftis and Mrs. Wayne Loftis and Mike Glasscock.

Doyle Rice visited his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Rice, during the week.

Alfred Fletcher visited Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher Friday.

Mrs. Mason Pulliam, John Pulliam, Joyce Graham and Pastor Norman Talley visited Mason Pulliam during the week.

Morine Rice’s visitors were Jason Murray, Tyra Murray, Mrs. Billy Murray.

Mr. and Mrs. Casey Tuck, Amber and Dustin, Mrs. Mike Glasscock, Mrs. Mason Pulliam, John Pulliam, Sarah Harris and Mrs. Linda Chandler visited Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher during the week.

Catherine Smith’s visitors were Robert Henry Smith and Brandon, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Smith, Kathy Keeton, Dorothy Hite, Bonnie Williamson.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dave Jaloway Thursday thru Sunday were Mr. David Jaloway, III, Heather and Holly, all visited Tony Jaloway.

Dinner guests of Fannie Mae Tuck Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Lindy Tuck, Pam Tuck, Jarrad Tuck and Rhylee, Mrs. Michael Conner and Maci.

Mrs. Tony McGregor visited her mother, Hannah Hite, and other visitors were Mrs. Dave Jaloway, Fannie Mae Tuck.

Mrs. Tony McGregor and Hannah Hite visited Henry Murray, Jennifer Clement, Mary Anna and Sarah Elizabeth.

Our special prayers for Thomas Puryear, Mike Elliott, Cordelia Tucker, Sara Vaughan, Mason Bowen, Wayne Morris, Owen “Moose” Poole, Violet Geary, Jason and Michelle Johnson and baby girl.
