Pastor Norman Talley had the message at Union Christian Church Sunday morning; Pat Newton was pianist; special music was by Brandi Talley; those attending the “House of Fate” Saturday evening were Robin Welford, Mrs. Mason Pulliam, Amber Tuck, Justin Tuck, Jeremy Saunders, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Tuck, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bowen. The veterans will be honored for their service to our country on November 10 by members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 337 and lunch will be served to everyone at noon.

Our sympathy to the family and friends of Helen Poole and Archie Morgan.

Mrs. Catherine Smith had a grand group Sunday to enjoy a meal with him: Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Smith and Johnathan, Mrs. Bonnie Williamson, Mrs. Allen Keeton, Kathy Keeton, Peggy Smith and friend, Galen Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henry Smith and Brandon.

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Murray, Jason Murray, Jimmy Newton, Gregory Murray and Teri visited Morine Rice during the week.

Mrs. Wallace Nunn visited Ethel Glasscock Winstead recently and her condition is not good and she would like to have visitors.

The dinner by the Virgilina Masons was held Saturday with a good attendance.

The Virgilina Fire Department will have their annual Halloween Carnival October 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Blanche Francisco and Madison Barnes visited Fannie Mae Tuck Saturday.

Mrs. Dave Jaloway, Henry Murray, Mrs. Wallace Nunn and Fannie Mae Tuck visited Hannah Hite during the week.

Visiting Mrs. Mary Murray during the week were Gene Murray, Mrs. Wayne Loftis, Mrs. Luna Clay, Mrs. Barbara Loftis, Fannie Mae Tuck, Cameron Murray, Mrs. Rhonda Loftis.

Dorothy Hite was overnight guest of Mrs. Catherine Smith Saturday and Ms. Charlie Evans visited Sunday.

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher during the week were Mrs. Mason Pulliam, John Pulliam, Jeremy Saunders, Mr. and Mrs. Casey Tuck, Amber and Justin, Mrs. Mike Glasscock and Mrs. Roger Chandler.

Luncheon guests of Fannie Mae Tuck Sunday were Mr. Lindy Tuck, Pam Tuck, Jarad Tuck and family, Mrs. Tuck visited Mr. and Mrs. Mike Elliott Monday.

Mrs. Joyce Graham, Mrs. Mason Pulliam, John Pulliam and Mrs. Casey Tuck visited Mason Pulliam during the week.
