Spring Revival coming to Winn’s Creek Baptist
SoVaNow.com / April 04, 2013The public is cordially invited to join Winn’s Creek Baptist Church in its Spring Revival on April 14 – 17.
On Sunday, April 14, at 11 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., the revival speaker will be The Rev. Dave Cline. Formally educated at Guilford Community College in Greensboro N.C. and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Cline resides with his wife Charlotte and young son Caleb in South Boston. He has been associate pastor and Student Ministries director at Grace Baptist Church in Virgilina, since March 2002.
Following the morning worship service on Sunday, April 14, members of the church family and guests will share delicious food and warm fellowship at a covered dish luncheon.
On Monday, April 15, through Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. each evening, Dr. Elwood Seamster, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Clover, S.C., will bring the message. Seamster received his formal education at Tabernacle Baptist Bible Institute in Virginia Beach, and at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary in Milton, Fla., where he earned Bachelor and Master degrees in Christian Education and a Doctorate of Ministry in Theology.
Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church for 37 years, Seamster also preaches at revivals, camp meetings, and Bible and Mission Conferences.
He and his wife Dianne are the proud parents of three children and five grandchildren.
Each revival service will include lively congregational singing, with special music provided by Ben & Linda Hughes, Sunday a.m.; Jamie and Kathy Laine, Sunday p.m.; Harold Young, Monday p.m.; Tammy Jones, Tuesday p.m.; Cecil Hazelwood, Wednesday p.m.
