Fitness classes to begin in September

SoVaNow.com / August 29, 2012
Summer is winding down, which means colder weather is approaching as well as less outdoor activity.

Why not start an exercise routine now to carry you through those colder months when you can’t get outside?

This year let Community Memorial Healthcenter (CMH) in South Hill help you start an exercise routine that works. Join us for a series of Healthy Body Fitness classes taught by highly trained exercise specialist.

Classes will begin on Monday, Sept. 4. All classes meet twice weekly for six weeks and are held at the CMH Exercise Therapy Center, 750 Lombardy Street in South Hill.

CMH offers different classes available for all levels of fitness. Classes include Tai Chi, Beginner and Intermediate Pilates & Yoga, Step Aerobics, Aqua Aerobics and Arthritis/Fibromyalgia Aquatic classes. CMH has something for everyone. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. All classes are open to men and women of all ages and cost less than $5 per session.

Starting, and staying with an exercise program is one of the best things you can do to increase the quality and longevity of your life. It not only benefits you but also everyone who is close to you. So get started today and do a little bit everyday and before you know it you will have a habit, a healthy habit!

Class sizes are limited so register today! For more information about these Health Body Fitness classes or to register to attend, call the CMH Exercise Therapy Center at (434) 774-2514 or register online at http://www.cmh-sh.org.
