Motorcycle ride to benefit CMH

Community Memorial Healthcenter’s T.R.E.E. Committee is hosting a motorcycle ride, which is open to the public and scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11 with a rain date of Sept. 18. The T.R.E.E. program at CMH is their employee-giving program. T.R.E.E. stands for Together Renders Employee Excellence. Employees are able to give through payroll deductions and fundraisers such as this one to support their hospital and strengthen health services for patients and their families.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the CMH Cancer and Rehab Centers located at 750 Lombardy Street in South Hill. The ride begins at 10 am with a $25 entry fee per bike and rider and only an additional $15 for another rider on the bike.

Riders will depart from CMH Cancer and Rehab Center and travel along approximately 80 miles of beautiful country roads stretching from Lake Gaston to Kerr Lake. There will be rest stops along the way and the ride will conclude at the picnic area at John H. Kerr Dam where a light lunch will be provided

All proceeds from the ride will go towards the purchase of Emergency Department patient equipment needs. Bike riders are invited to come join this ride for a great cause.
