‘Third Thursdays’ returns this week as day-long affair

The enthusiasm generated during the summer months of the Third Thursdays Main Street Stroll has evolved into a monthly event which will be celebrated in Downtown South Boston as a daylong offering. South Boston Town Manager Ted Daniel pointed to the energy created by the event which was started by Downtown merchants and the Parsons Bruce Art Gallery as being “something we want to maintain. It brought excitement and enthusiasm to the Town and people had a good time and didn’t want that to end,” Daniel said. He noted that Hill Studio, which is helping the Town with its comprehensive plan, noticed that energy and enthusiasm and wanted to include it as a part of its presentation.
