Shrimp Fest offers great items for patrons

During the festival there will be items for purchase through live and silent auctions. Some of this include paintings by artists Nita Yancey, Steven Schopen, Helen Conner, Esther Hutcherson, and Bob Cage—pottery by Pam Jones and Matthew Stafford —parties for groups of 6, 8, and 10 such as cocktails, wine tasting, dinner, and lake cruise. There is also a beach house at Emerald Isle, North Carolina. Additional items include a walking staff by Sam Lewis, variety of chairs, a Ben Hazelwood’s birdhouse, walnut table by Vick Fitchlee, a variety of prints including tobacco prints by Nancy Compton, a dozen of gift certificates, garden tools, historic books, jewelry, interior design advice, and much, much more.

Series of events showcases downtown entertainment, dining

The Parsons-Bruce Gallery, nine Main Street merchants, The Prizery and Destination Downtown South Boston are pleased to announce a summer series of events in June, July and August showcasing the tempting dining, shopping and live and creative arts opportunities in historic downtown South Boston.
