New hotel cuts ribbon

RIBBON CUTTING — The grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new Marriott Fairfield Inn Suites and Hotel was held yesterday, with local dignitaries and business leaders on hand in Riverdale. Shown at the ribbon cutting, from left, are Dr. Terrance Truitt, Calvin Emis, John Cannon, Denny Truitt and John Ferguson, members of the partnership group of the hotel. Drs. Terry Ketchersid and Neil Schacht, also partners, were not present.
