Retreat provides one more reason for visitors to fall in love with area

Angie Huckstep, visiting Halifax County from Hanover County, has fallen in love with Shangrila Equestrian Retreat. “I’ve been coming here for about three years now, and every year I’ve been here, it’s been really cool. Gary and Julie (Holmes) just make great accommodations and great trail rides and the horses are always nice,” said Angie, who rides six days a week at home.
