Cantaloupe Fest tickets sell fast as event date approaches
SoVaNow.com / May 23, 2013The 33rd annual Virginia Cantaloupe Festival set June 7 at Berry Hill Resort is only two weeks away and the excitement is quickly building.
There are still a few tickets remaining and they can be purchased at http://www.valopefest.com or interested parties can stop by the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce office or the Halifax County Visitors Center to purchase tickets in person.
Additionally, hotel rooms are available at the resort for the night of the festival and can be reserved by contacting the Chamber office at 434-572-3085.
Tickets are all inclusive and cover food, beverages and entertainment.
The night’s entertainment kick starts with Southside’s own 6th N Main band. They will highlight the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s music for grooving. Then the Konnection band hits the stage to take us through the night.
