South Boston Police are searching for a suspect who held a man at gunpoint in the parking lot of Centerville Shopping Center before taking his car, a 2009 Kia. The incident happened Friday, around 11 p.m. A male subject told police that he was approached by a black male, estimated to be around 20 to 30 years old, who asked for a cigarette. After a brief conversation, the victim was forced at gunpoint from his car by the suspect.
