The Halifax County Crime Line Committee and local emergency services personnel will be hosting a car wash fundraiser Saturday, May 15 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at O’Reilly Auto Parts on Halifax Road in Centerville. All funds raised will go toward rewards and operating expenses for the Halifax County Crime Line.

The Crime Line’s goal is to solve crimes through a partnership between law enforcement and the community. By calling the Crime Line, one can become eligible for a cash reward by reporting information pertaining to a crime or reporting the whereabouts of a wanted fugitive.

The Halifax County Crime Line can be reached 24 hours a day at 434-476-8445.
