Children’s Christmas and Pets Parade slated Sunday night in Halifax

SoVaNow.com / December 05, 2019

The Santa Paws Children’s Christmas and Pets Parade in the Town of Halifax, postponed from last Sunday due to bad weather, will take place this Sunday, Dec. 8, starting at 6 p.m. in downtown Halifax.

Children are invited to come walk in the parade with friends, siblings, parents, grandparents and caregivers, and especially with their pets — holiday attire is highly encouraged. Been waiting for the chance to put reindeer antlers on your beloved pooch? Sunday night is your big chance.

The event, sponsored by the Halifax Village Association, will take place on Main Street and Farmers Market. Everyone is invited to take part, and no registration is required.
