Clarksville hosts Christmas parade Friday night

SoVaNow.com / December 05, 2012
On the heels of Christmas parades in South Hill and Chase City this weekend, the town of Clarksville will take its turn welcoming Santa Claus to town this Friday night at 6:30, when the Clarksville Christmas Parade returns in its full holiday splendor.

The public is cordially invited to join the festivities along Virginia Avenue and enjoy the downtown scene Friday night and throughout the holiday season. The parade will feature marching bands, floats with contemporary and religious themes, singers and dancers, antique and classic cars, horseback riders, and, of course, old St. Nick himself.
