Cloudy skies, but cheery outlook for Winefest

South Boston NewsSouth Boston News

A blustery day did not dampen the spirits of the crowd that attended Clarksville’s annual Winefest on Saturday. While the weather may have kept attendance down, those who turned out at the business bridge enjoyed an afternoon of music by Tobacco Road Band and Jeff and Brian, wine tastings from Hill Top Berry Farm, Three Sisters of Shiney Rock, Rosemont of Virginia, and 15 other Virginia wineries as well as good food from Cooper’s Landing Inn and Traveler’s Tavern, French Crisp Café, and Off the Chain, and beer from Clarksville’s own Buggs Island Brewing Company.
