ED-3 supervisor to lead town hall on school referendum / October 14, 2019

Supervisor Hubert Pannell will hold a town hall in Election District 3 on Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m., to discuss the local option sales tax referendum that voters will see on the ballot on Election Day, Nov. 5. The town hall will be held at Oak Level Fire Department at 2019 Oak Level Road, Halifax.

This referendum gives citizens the opportunity to vote on an additional 1 cent local sales tax to pay for school construction and improvements. These town hall meetings are designed to provide information on the referendum and answer questions from citizens.
