Few details in shooting of South Hill 18-year-old

South Boston News
Neal / September 29, 2021
The Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office has released few details on the Saturday shooting death of a South Hill 18-year-old, Jaxon Neal, on Saturday.

Contacted for information on the fatal shooting, a spokesperson for the Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office would only confirm that the case remains under investigation.

Neal had been a student at Park View High School until earlier this year. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

A celebration of Neal’s life took place Tuesday, in the field at Ephesus Baptist Church, 1642 Smith Cross Road, South Hill. Interment will be private. The family requests that memorial considerations made in Jaxon’s memory be directed to the Palmer Springs Fire Department.

Who advised the newspaper it was a "slaying". Very possible it was accidental. Just another time the sorry ass article writers have no idea what they are doing.
