First baby of 2013 delivered at Halifax Regional
SoVaNow.com / January 04, 2013Nala Parker, daughter of Amber Brooks and Diondre Parker, was the first baby born at Halifax Regional Hospital in 2013.
Delivered in Halifax Regional’s Family Birthing Center by Dr. Duc Trieu at 10:38 a.m. on January 3, Nala weighed seven pounds and was nineteen inches long.
Halifax Regional’s first baby of 2013 received numerous gifts including a diaper bag, healthcare kit, a baby blanket, toys and a wide variety of baby care items.
