Gathering for prayer

Nearly 200 people joined the National Day of Prayer Breakfast at Red Oak Excavating in Red Oak on Thursday morning. The nationwide observance has been celebrated in Mecklenburg and Charlotte counties for the past four years at the Red Oak business.
