Halifax Council to meet Aug. 23 for courthouse talk / August 07, 2017
Halifax Town Council will not meet for its regular second Tuesday night council meeting date this month, according to Town Manager Carl Espy.

Rather, Council is set to meet with its Planning Commission in joint session on Wednesday, Aug. 23 to discuss plans for the Halifax Courthouse renovation project.

Julie Langan, director of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, has been invited to be present for the meeting to offer guidance on preservation of the historic courthouse.
