SoVaNow.com / December 10, 2012
The Halifax County School Board will meet this evening at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Halifax County High School for its regular monthly meeting.

Trustees have only one public comment scheduled for the meeting and expect to recognize the high school FFA program for its accomplishments.

In unfinished business trustees will look at the reduction in force policy they recently considered as well as consider revisions to the school system’s vacation policy. They will also review the 1969 court order concerning the employment of minority school personnel.

Under new business they will discuss the school calendar for the coming year.
