Halifax County to limit use of Bethune meeting room / April 05, 2018
Halifax County Supervisors approved a policy on Monday night that will soon restrict the use of the second floor public meeting room in the Mary Bethune Complex since the room will be in use by the Halifax County Circuit Court for trials.

The room, used for various meetings and events, will soon only be used by supervisors for their monthly meetings, as well as county planners and the school board members.

The room will likely be in use by the Circuit Court staffers for two years during the time the renovation of the courthouse is being carried out.
