Healthy Kids Day returns on April 27 back to South Boston

Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA of South Boston/Halifax County returns Saturday with lots of fun, games, exercise and exhibitions. This year’s event will feature several new additions including a karate demo, Lego building, a giant inflatable bouncy thing and water gun fights.

Adrian Bryant, one of the organizers of the event said, “I’m excited! It will be a lot of fun, and we encourage everyone in the community to come out and visit us and just watch kids have an all out fun day.”

Healthy Kids Day is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (with open swim lasting until noon) and for more information on the event you can contact the YMCA at (434) 572-8909.
