House kills fox penning legislation

On Tuesday the House Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Natural Resources Committee killed Senate Bill 1280 dealing with fox penning which had been a hot topic in the Senate where it had been approved on a 24-16 vote.

If the House had not killed the bill it would have curbed activities at the 37 pens that now operate in Virginia, mostly in Southside.
