July 15 joint meeting of local boards cancelled

A joint meeting of the Halifax County Board of Supervisors, South Boston Town Council and Halifax Town Council, scheduled for July 15, has been canceled.

According to County Administrator Jim Halasz, there are no pressing items on the agenda for discussion at this time.

The next meeting is scheduled for October 21. If a meeting is needed prior to that time, a special meeting will be called.
